Beef kushiyaki recipe


Ingredients:

-1,5 pounds beef sirloin steak, cut them thin 
-3,5 green onions, slice
-1/3 cup white sugar
-1 1/2 clove garlic, minced
-1/2 cup soy sauce
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-bamboo skrewer

Directions:

1. Prepare medium bowl, put soy sauce, garlic, salt, sugar, then mix them together and stir to dissolve the sugar.
2. Place the beef and green onions into the marinade, stir to coat with marinade. Let them stand for 30 minutes.
3. While you wait, soak the bamboo skewers in water.
4. Preheat the oven broiler and set the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
5. Then, roll a slice of thin beef around a pice of green onion, skewer the roll with 2 bamboo skewers, place inches apart. Repeat twice more till the remaining beef slices. Then, place skewers onto a broiling pan.
6. Broil them until the both sides are browned. This is usually about 3 minutes per side.
7. Serve them warm with your favorite Japanese dip sauce.
